1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U can eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc....more

1)Don’t have those food which cause acidity , in front of children

( preferably don’t have them).


2) For older children talk to them

Try tl make them understand that the discomfort due to acidity is due to those particular food, that often helps cut down tantrums.


3) If they still insist , control the amount which they can have of favorite foods which you know cause reflux..., lesser the better.

Make a powdered mixture of equal parts of rock candy (mishri), fennel, and green cardamom. Whenever you experience heartburn, mix 1 teaspoon of the mixture in a glass of cold milk and drink.
