Painful menses are termed as dysmenorrhoea which is very common . You can manage it by using hot water bottle during the pain. Also regular yoga exercises stretches nd strenthens the muscles which causes less pain during menses. - to start with you have to judge for yourself the intensity of exercise which can be tolerated by your system as sometimes too vigorous exercise exacerbates the symptoms

Rest when needed.
Give yourself a little massage where it hurts.
