Yeast infection requires both external and internal treatment .If you suspect you have the infection, see your doctor for an accurate diagnosis. It is better to be sure if it is candida or something else and you also need to be certain if there are other underlying issues causing the infection. Your doctor should be able to diagnose your infection just by examining your private parts and questioning you.

Fungal infections are most difficult to treat as they are stubborn and don't go very easily. Not going to a doctor will not help you because if you don't get it treated it willget worse and cause you distress.

It is most likely a fungal infection which usually causes an offensive smell in female private parts ,so you would need to use candid vag tabs to be inserted in vagina for six nights, she should also maintain good Personal hygeine and drink lots of water.
She should change her undergarments two to three times a day or use panty liners.

Do not use public toilet and in emergency indian toilet is preffered.
Use properly washed sun dried undergarments.

It could be a fungal infection you had after unprotected sex, for which you need to use Antifungal ointment or cream to get rid of it besides maintaining personal hygiene.
