Shoulder impingement syndrome is a condition of the shoulder that is characterized by a feeling of pain and weakness while lifting the arm overhead. A tendon, known as the rotator cuff tendon, attaches the tip of the upper arm to the shoulder. Impingement of the shoulder occurs when this tendon is trapped in the sub acromial space. The sub acromial space is the space near the shoulder joint where the tendon goes through.

Your knee is guarded and cushioned by a cartilage known as meniscus. A meniscus tear, therefore, is an extremely painful and discomforting situation. It occurs very frequently and has emerged as one of the most commonly occurring cartilage injuries. A dislocated shoulder is an injury in the shoulder joint, which is the most mobile joint present in the body. A dislocated shoulder injury occurs when the upper arm bone juts out of the socket in your shoulder blade. Four tips to help keep women away from experiencing an ACL tear.
1. Maintain the centre of strength - One would always want to strengthen the muscles, not overload them. Many athletes try to push themselves to their physical limits while working out - run one more minute, do one more rep, lift just 5 more pounds, etc - but doing so can actually overload muscles and lead to injury. Instead, I would suggest concentrating on building and maintaining strength across the board during your wo...more

A meniscal tear is a typical injury occurring in the knee. The meniscus resembles a C-shaped plate (cartilage) that is rubbery in nature and pads your knee. Every knee contains two menisci, one each at the external and internal edge. The menisci help in keeping your knee firm by adjusting your weight over the joint. A torn meniscus could keep your knee from working properly.
