Dear user. Very nice and happy to hear that you quit smoking. Some withdrawal symptoms are normal after quitting smoking. But this withdrawal symptoms can be seen in only heavy and long term smokers. In your case, there may not be any withdrawal symptoms at all. Especially after one and half month. So don't worry. This head ache could be due to stress or anxiety. I suggest online counseling and psychotherapy. Take care.

Not at all. Most people who quit smoking or chewing tobacco do so by going cold turkey. That is, they stop everything suddenly. Medical help is only required for the withdrawal symptoms, if they are severe or unmanageable.

Dear Lybrate user, I understand how you become anxious when it comes to your health. At it takes lot of courage to go back to healthy lifestyle and giving up or reducing smoke. Remind yourself why you quit. Focus on your reasons for quitting, including the health benefits (lowering your risk for heart disease and lung cancer, for example), improved appearance, money you’re saving, and enhanced self-esteem.
Get out of a tempting situation. Where you are or what you’re doing may be triggering the craving. If so, ...more

Oats help to flush out the harmful toxins from the body while lowering the craving for smoking. It also helps in easing up the withdrawal symptoms. Heat one tablespoon of oats in two cups and leave it to set overnight. Right before consuming, heat the oat mix again and drink after every meal.
