Hsg will not affect ovulation but usually both are not done in same cycle because after hsg one is advised to avoid intercourse for few days and it is likely that ovulation may happen during those days so no sense in giving drugs for ovulation in same cycle.

Last year visited my going for delayed periods expecting pregnancy but test was negative after that advised usg and blood test usg reports were all perfect but uterus was bit bulky so doc suspected of early pregnancy but beta hcg came negative n the next day I had my periods did the prescribed test were everything was perfect except thyroid and prolactin so doc prescribed me thyronorm as thyroid was 6.5 but prolactin was high 74 so doc asked me whether I am on certain medication so I told that had severe herpes along with severe gastric problem becoz of high dose of medicine 15-20 days back and using mac 5abs for gastric she suggested to wait for a month for mri bcoz high prolactin was may be result of medicine hve taken just half an hour before test next month on 2nd day of periods checked my thyroid and prolactin from 2 labs at different time thyroid was 4.2 and prolactin was 17 in 1 report and 24 in other so doc suggested that it was becoz of medicine next month doc prescribed me letroze and I conceived but later had miscarriage now again planning for a baby sometimes periods are regular n sometimes irregular is there any chances that I may have pituitary tumors can I check my prolactin levels without periods please reply.

As last 2 prolactin reports are normal and one which was high was also not very high reports do not suggest pituitary tumor.
