It depends upon the etiology. If the polyps are fungal in origin, then chance of recurrence is high. Also in a country like India where dust and pollution is everywhere, curing polyps is very difficult cos the patient goes back to the same environment after surgery. I have had many patients who never had recurrence after they settled in Europe or America. Middle East and Asia are hot and dusty which is perfect for polyps. will.answer them one by one.

1) taking sompraz is not a solution.
2) Removing polyp will not cure acidity for that I am damn sure.
3) your doctor may not have told you that these polyps are precancerous. means the person having it have higher chances of developing cancer later.
