The itching could be due to tinea cruris that is a fungal infection of the skin. Keep the affected area dry, avoid tight fitting clothes, wear cotton underwear. Homoeopathic medicines will be beneficial in treatment of skin diseases. Consult in private chat window for further queries.

Yes, you should restart tacrolimus ointment (0.1%). However, vitiligo is a disorder with a waxing and waning course. Sometimes, it can increase or decrease despite the treatment or even without the treatment. If you have any further doubts then feel free to contact a dermatologist near you or do online consultation on Lybrate.

Hi. Vitiligo is a immunological condition and can be treated but usually it takes time. Since you are having focal vitiligo, it has a good prognosis. But do not mix up ayurveda/ allopathy treatment, chose any 1.tacrolimus has good response in case of vitiligo. Thanks.

Good morning lybrate-user. White spots could arise in quite a few conditions- p.versicolor, p.alba, early vitiligo etc. You haven't mentioned the diagnosis, duration of treatment nor are pictures available for examination. I suggest you follow up with your treating doctors and address any concern you have with them. This is the best course of action.

Hi. Melanocyl ointment usually causes burning and not suitable to use on mucosal areas like lip. Considering the safety other treatment options should be planned like tacrolimus 0.1 percent. Thanks.
