I have seen the query. The information about thyroid profile is too old. You will have to get current thyroid profile (t3, t4 & tsh) done and report that. Plus madam please remember hypothyroidism is not cured. Patient has to take the supplement of levothyroxine (in adequate dosage) for life time. I have seen the question. Madam let clarify for hypothyroidism (if well confirmed with high tsh) only medication is to take adequate dosage of levothyroxine. There is no medicine in any other alternative branch or therapy. This is because hypothyroidism occurs due to insufficient or some times nill production (synthesis) of thyroxine (t4) by our thyroid gland.
