Are 42 female. Vitamin deficiency. I saw in you tube where a naturopath was telling eat raw food for meals. Like salads or fruits. Is it enough if I have only salads for lunch/ dinner.

Don’t take multivitamin as some are fat soluble vitamin and some are water soluble vitamin and some minerals and vitamin bind each other better to do some body test and according to your deficiency take it. Ask me for consult.

If you eat a healthy balanced meal, as per your requirement you don’t need to take any multivitamin. You can follow these diet things during your routine Include vegetable Dalia, oats, veg poha, vegetables soup, sauted vegetables. Include the dairy products like curd, custard with fruits, chhena for daily routine. Include beet root,carrot,apple juice and butter, ghee, roasted chicken, roasted fish, whole egg. Include high calorie foods like mix vegetables rice, mix veg soup/non-veg soup. Include high protein diet pulses like soyabeans, moong, arher, chana, rasma. Include rice water, barley water, wheat flour, rice You can also add seeds n nuts Plenty of water will be helpful.

Dear Lybrateuser, - It will depend on the degree of deficiency, but take it for a couple of months then a break for 15 days or so & continue again.

if you are facing any medical issues, yes you can go for it. if not than no need. take healthy diet. winter is a good time to consume proper n healthy meal, as at this time our metabolism rate is very good. so you can add calcium, iron and vitamin D rich food in your diet that are generally deficiet, specially in females add milk and dairy products in your diet. Take green leafy vegetables shakes n liquids are essential for you. Take proper meal at every 2 hourly. if you face any problem than you can go for the supplements but natural foods are far better than any supplements

Vit k deficiency is not said to be the reason for depression. More common would be your underlying medical condition or endogenous depression. It would be wise to consult a psychiatrist, get evaluated and take a course of antidepressants. Good luck.

You need to take whey protein (by whatever name it comes). But it should contain 80% whey protein in it. E.g. For 30 gms it should have atleast 24 grams (80%) of protein.) use it only on the day you gym (within 10 mins of exercise). Dose is 30gms. Also take vit e vit c chromium zinc selenium antioxident one walnut all this within 10 mins of finishing your exercises for details consult online.
