Vitamin Deficiency Questions

My son is 18.5 years. He is showing hypothyroid with 7.4 in his recent blood test. Also his Vit d is 15 which is low and also his vit B12. Could the lack of Vit D and B12 lead to thyroid disorder or vice versa.

No that is not true. Give him supplements of thyroid hormone, vit D, vit B12 under supervision of a Physician.

Hello, it is not compulsory, but after 45's most of female face her most sensible time of pre-menopause or menopause. Mostly in this period or in your 30's if you don't eat healthy diet, it will reflect as a deficiency during menopause. Generally absorption of calcium and other nutrients goes lower during menopause due to hormonal changes, which cause deficiency in later age. So, if you wish to take, Consult your family physician.

1.no alcohol 3. No smoking/ tobacco 5. 30 mts brisk walk daily 6. Deep breathing exercise for 10 mts daily 8. Expose your body to sun for 15-20 mts daily after some oil massage to get vit d. 9. Take more water Medicine can not be advised for open question ,for medicine contact on private chat.

Hello, Yes you need to take supplements. Vit D tablets are available in market, take 1 pill once a week for 3 months, check for the levels again and that test will decide if you need to continue with the pills or not.

Hello, Take Vit D tablets that are available in market. Take the tablets once a week for 3 months, check the levels again and than see if you need to continue with the tablets or not.
