It is not a good idea to take any medicine which is not absolutely necessary in the first trimester. If vit d is needed because of diagnosed deficiency, it is best taken in second and third trimesters.

Lemon and aamla fruit is good supplement of vit C. Aamla is very rich in vit C.
Vit E should not be taken for long time as it is fat soluble and is stored in body, Long time intake may accumulate toxic levels of vit E.
