ACV is good for health, it may help in your condition. Better if you do anulom vilom pranayam with that. Take ACV ~10 ml with water in morning empty stomach, you can do gargles also.

It is due to mumps parotitis.

Recovery in old age is a bit prolonged, specially with viral diseases like mumps.
Let her rest for few more days. Get here tested for antigen of mumps like she was diagnosed earlier. Test may not be negative but you can compare with previous reading.
Light work only plus high protein simple digestible food plus any pain killer like maftal which will reduce swelling also.

Sgot, sgpt and s. Bilirubin are borderline raise I am giving you idea about symptom of jaundice:
high temperature
body ache
decrease food intake nausea/ vomiting abdomen pain
yellow eyes/ urine
and jaundice is diagnosed by lft, usg upper abdomen and viral hepatitis panel
we need to do physical examination to diagnose cause of fever.
