Because vertigo by definition means spinning sensation either you with respect to surrounding or vice versa, dizzyness can also be defined as uneazyness, blackouts etc as in sudden loss of balance or consciousness, also is the vertigo associated with nausea or vomiting. So this requires a proper history. please visit an ent specialist for proper evaluation as differential diagnosis of vertigo can be many.

You might be having bppv (benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, it is a benign disorder, and it usually occurs on changing head positions and disappears after sometimes, it may not require any medicine but rather a manoeuvre to settle it. Or it may be other cause. Go and visit an ent specialist.
