you may need to get teeth extracted first .. and then .. wait for healing like two months and only after that .. get the dentures made or if implants .. then u have an option of overdenture or just place ng implants in whole mouth and giving fixures ..

. You may need cleaning along with desensitizing procedures and / or artificial enamel filling and / or root canal treatment. Advance procedures can be done with laser too. You may consult me in person. Until then apply a desensitizing paste (sensodyne tooth paste) on the teeth. Wait for 10 to 15 min until you brush your teeth with the same paste. Applying it overnight will be better.

Hello, first of all pain is not the only criteria to conclude weather a filling or a root canal is required in the tooth, Sometimes you might have pain and still the tooth require just the filling and sometimes you dont have pain but tooth will go for root canal. So X-ray is required for that tooth based on which the extent of decay can be seen if the decay have reached the centre sensitive part that is pulp it will go for root canal but if there is sound tooth structure between the decay and ...more

Hi Sir, I had tooth filling from 8 years. Suddenly there is a severe pain on this tooth. 1. No pain while chewing or tapping tooth. 2. But severe pain during drinking / eating hot / cold food. 3. Pain is there upto 20-30 mins after hot/cold drink/food. I had visited dentist. He checked 1st teeth 1. He checked teeth is ok and white. 2. He checked tooth feeling is also ok. 3. I informed about above severe pain and sensitivity. 4. He taped teeth but no pain there and after 3-4 days pain is gradually decreased compare to previously. 5. Then he checked with x-ray. He saw something in x-ray and told me that there is "sado"(" caries) below tooth feeling. He said he doesn't know how it reached there. He advised me for root canal. And prescribed antibiotics and painkillers. I asked home about 2nd time tooth re filling after cleaning caries. But he said it's not possible and root canal required. Nowy questions are 1. Is it possible to remove tooth filling and clean care and again do 2nd time tooth filling? 2. My pain is reduced. After taking antibiotics, will it resolve on its own? 3 how caries is present under feeling? 4. Should I do rct or wait?

yes it is called secondary caries, once you feel pain on that particular tooth, you may need to go for root canal .because once you get pain means it reaches root and even after pain subside on antibiotic it have a chances to get pain again in future. it is advisable for root canal

Hello, ya missing tooth can be either replaced by an implant or a fixed bridge. For a bridge to be possible the missing tooth space should have at least one tooth on both the sides so that with the support of adjacent teeth a bridge can be made and cemented. So if your missing tooth fulfil this criterion you can opt for this. And it can be easily done in the time mentioned by you.
Thanks.

Composite has advantage over gic of being strong, more esthetic material. For mixed dentition choice between gic or composite based on many factors. Usually gic do well. For adults the choice of material is composite in most of the cases.

Unfortunately when the last three teeth are gone from your mouth, implant is the only possibility to get fixed teeth done. There is another option that is slightly less expensive than implants, using precision attachments to partially fix your removable denture to your adjacent teeth after putting crowns on them.getting removable dentures is an option too, as you have mentioned. But fixed replacements show better patient acceptance in most cases
