It might be due to varicose veins inflammation or it might be due to ligament injury in the knee. The conservative management would be to keep ice in that inflamed area during one time in a day and to wear either knee cap or varicose veins stockings.

Your symptom is suggestive of varicocele (scrotum). Possibly you have done a usg abdomen, which showed some lymph nodes etc. Both conditions could be interrelated. You need a detailed examination by a physician for diagnosis and proper treatment.

Best would be to do calf pumping exercises ,and wear compression stockings and walk regularly on an even surface ,don't stand for long at one place for more than half an hour keep moving.

If you have cvi there are 3 modalities for therapy, compression stockings of grade iii are a must for a long duration to avoid any swelling, limb elevation and fluid restriction can be helpful, taking anti coagulants as prophylaxis is indicated, however using aspirin and clopidogrel for cvi is not effective, warfarin was earlier prescribed but with safe anti coagulants like xarelto 15 mg od no need for above medications. Get a doppler to check you don't have any blockage in the main veins of these are varicose then you can get them embolized.

Yes you can work anywhere, after healing pleura thickens, but comes to normal by its own. You have to do deep breathig exercises to recover early.
