When your baby is six weeks old, it is recommended they have three vaccines: combined (or hexavalent) dtpa-hib-ipv-hepb, 13vpcv, and rotavirus. Only two of the vaccines are needles, usually given in babies' legs. The rotavirus vaccine is given as drops put into your baby's mouth.

Painless vaccine per se doesn’t reduce pain while administering the injection but reduces the pain, fever etc caused following vaccination. You can give normal vaccine at a later time.

Hi Raju. Most of the times the pain after vaccination is mild and hence plain paracetamol drops or syrup is good enough for pain relief so according to the baby's weight you can administer paracetamol drops for the baby rather than more potent ibugesic plus.

It is advisable to complete primary vaccination series with same product though there will not be any major side effects if other product is used.

Frontline health workers and elders above 60 years of age (on advice from their doctors) are eligible to take the booster dose 9 months after their second dose.
The booster dose will be the same vaccine the people have received for their 1st two doses. Do not mix it up. Thank you.

The covid-19 vaccines presently available in india, i.e. Covishield and covaxin are classified as inactivated (non-live) vaccines. Theoretically, administration of these vaccines to breastfeeding women should not render any harm to the breastfed infant.

we don't see any unusual to give covaxin in patients on thyroxin...allergic reaction to any killed vaccine / inactivated vaccine - are the peculiar thing u shall rule out ...otherwise thyroxin shall not cause any issue
