Asked for female, 35 years old from Kolkata

I have problem of weird sensation .sometime irritation and sometime tingling .i have done urine analysis test, culture .every time report is normal. This problem arise after I had gone through hsg test. Whn I get my ist period after hsg test .i get urine urgency problem with this weird sensation. Reports come ok. Urispas cure urine urgency but weird sensation always be there .i have renal mid pole calculi of 5.5. It is non obstructive .report show no obstruction. Do not know exact cause of symptom. My gynecologist suggest only to take ample water and cranberry. So I opt for another gynecologist of chennai. Her suggestion makes me out of my mind .she suggest me to go for herpes simplex 2 igg antibody test. Is it worth to go for this test? Or should I go for some other medication. Please help.

If you say sometime tingling the word sometime indicate that there is lesser chances of herpes and and if your urine report for bacteria are negative even then there is a possibilities of bacterial infection.
And one more point is that presence of bacteria doesn't mean every time that you are having urine infection.
That's why in every lab and any report it is mentioned to match clinical pathologically which can only done by matching your symptoms and lab reports.

yes you can... one to two tabs thrice a day with a glass of water... but take it for 3 weeks then stop... just don't take any medication continuously unless indicated..

Go for urine std panel test.
Till then, cap doxy100 one per day for 7-10 days.
Montex lc one at night for seven to ten days.
Locally apply
betnovate n oint after gentle cleaning.
Clean your underwear very properly n soak it in sunlight.

Oflox is an antibiotic and not of much use in uti. Urispas is used for urethral dyscomfort. For urine infection general hygiene measures, daily change of undergarments and drinking lots of water will help. She needs to give her urine for culture and antibiotic sensitivity.
