Fibroids are benign (non-cancerous) tumours of the womb (uterus). They are also known as myomas. They are growths of smooth muscle and fibrous tissue. The size of fibroids can vary from as small as a pea to that of a melon. At least one in five women develop a fibroid at some stage of their life, usually between the ages of 30-50 years old.

There r few medicines available but fibroids being multiple and being too big in your case, you shud under go surgery without wasting too much of time. Now a days key hole surgery (laparoscopy) is very advanced. You can undergo surgery without scar on your abdomen.

Removal of womb is advisable if she is not keen to preserve.
If she wants to preserve surgeon can try to at time of surgery but if not possible will remove.
Second opinion is always by meeting another gynecologist who can personally take history, examine and see all reports.
