Hi lybrate-user
A serosal fibroid at 46 years does not need surgery. Was it found out by chance during a routine scan or did you have any symptoms. Im assuming it is in your uterus.
Once you attain menopause, all fibroids shrink. And one this size does not need surgery.

Hello dear. Please take a high protein diet. Make sure you eat regularly. Avoid junk food and have foods with good iron content so that your hemoglobin stays upto the mark. Do not miss tablets in case your doctor has prescribed you any. All in all stay positive about the whole process. I am sure you will go thru with the surgery well. All the best. Take care.

Surgery needs to be decided after clinical examination and fibroids usually do not require treatment until unless proven otherwise

you can take homeopathic medicine for that. As it’s a small one n is not giving many problems so no need to go for surgery. Moreover, her menopause is just a few years away.

See abscess means you have infection so its going to exaggerateonly. You may take antibiotics but that may be resistant in this situation. So its better to act wisely.Alternate some drs just drain the abscess which is a minor procedure as it has to come out else can be toxic to the body

Fibroadenomas are the modt common cause of a breast lump between 15-30 years of age and small fibroadenomas (less than 1.2 cm) do not require any surgery. They usually resolve with time.
Bigger lesions can be managed by a small surgery which can be done under local anaesthesia as wel.

Every fibroid doesn't need a surgery. It is completely dependent on what symptoms it is giving, it's location, speed of it's growth etc.
