Ihv undergone surgery under ursl method to remove stones in kidney and placed stent inside. After how many days, the stent will be removed. Does it require anaesthesia or without?

Your doctor may remove the stent in a few weeks. Most stone fragments that are not removed will pass out of the body within 24 hours. But sometimes it can take many weeks. If you have a large stone, you may need to come back for more treatments.

Just get her urine examined for rbc and you will know the answer - consult doctor if rbc are seen in urine sample more than 7 days after surgery and immedietly if she has fever.

Hi Doctors, As I am having a stone in my left ureter undergone URSL without DG stent as doctor told they completed procedure in 10 mins. They discharged next day as all my vitals are good. First 2 days I am fine and 3rd day onwards severe fever and headache. I consulted the doctor and he told it is common due to urinary tract infection. Also in ultrasound and CT they identified a small calculi strucked to ureter wall and confirmed that it is not obstructing the flow. Is fever common post URSL? Is there any problem with that small particle which is left out. Very rarely mild pain left side.

For an ayurvedic doctor, I am suffering from recurrent kidney stone problem. Calcium oxalate stone from 2013. Had lithotripsy, URSL and PCNL surgery, but again stone forms in kidney. I have learnt that a herb chance piedra or phyllantus niruri (in assamese it is called holopholi or poram like as I have found in google am from assam) helps in dissolving kidney stones. Currently since I am having 4 kidney stones right and left kidney combined, will chance piedra help to dissolve the stones? And do I need to take the leaf extract /juice of leaf of this plant or eat the small fruits of this herb and in what dose?
