I had anastomotic urethroplasty almost 9 years ago. In the first year of surgery doctor used to check every 3 months. He used to ask for uroflowmetry and then he used to insert dilators to calibrate my urethra. From the next year he asked for check up once in a year. In every follow up he used to insert dilator to calibrate the urethra. My flow was manageable if not very good. I had not much problem. Last week I went for routine follow up. My flow was manageable then also. In the last follow up which was last week he inserted dilator and said there is resistance in bulbar urethra. He asked me to go after one week. Then he again inserted dilator and said he could not dilate. So he asked me to do a uroflowmetry. Then on the same day I did uroflow and the q max came 20 ml per second. So the doctor said as long as flow is fine there is no need to do anything. My actual flow is not so good. It came so good because it was done after (incomplete?) dilatation. But my flow normally is manageable. My question is what if my flow reduces? What is the treatment option now? Can there be damage after dilation once a year?

If you can send me successive reports and prescription of doctor, I may suggest some ayurvedic treatment, if feasible. Pl talk to me or send Lybrate chat. If there is no obstruction, something can be done in a nice way. If obstruction, what kind of obstruction is it.

No problem with just consuming beer. However if you have kidney stones and you drink beer, then kidney stones will be flushed out of kidneys and get stuck at stricture. This will cause complications. However the stricture can be treated by me through homeopathy. Homeopathic medication will definitely help treating your health condition and you will feel much better in 2. Months. Contact me for appointment. I can send medicine by myself if they are not available at your place.

If some kegal exercises, bandha etc gave been advised with uttarbasti, pl do that or consult. If effective for six months after sittings, pl continue. It is a feat. There may be chances of further improvement. Otherwise people spend life wearing diapers. Kegel exercises are a simple way to build strength in your pelvic floor muscles. These exercises are done by lifting, holding and then relaxing your pelvic floor muscles. You can find these muscles by stopping the flow of urine mid-stream wh...more
