No worries it is a common finding when you r not able to passes gases and due to constipation sometimes there is gaseous distension of the abdomen.

Meet the Gynaecologist urgently and go for a repeat ultrasound scan.
Management of situation will depend on fetal gestational age, maternal condition and other factors.
If it is true that the heart of baby is not working, then surgical removal of baby is done by gynaecologist.

Pls take plenty of water n juices to improve the water content of your body. It may b due to dehydration.

Palpitations are common in females
as you are 40 year age, you need to undergo investigations like echo, ecg etc and meet a general physician.
If every test comes normal, it can be due to gastritis gas acidity and indigestion

Nipt is an expensive test and not diagnostic. It's better to go for a diagnostic test like cvs now or an amniocentesis later at around 15 weeks .these tests are invasive but accurate. With suspicion of downs syndrome its better to get things clear before 20 weeks pregnancy.

The baby will be fine. Take care of the mother. I am sure you are following the advice of the doctor. Keep a clam and peaceful atmosphere at home. All will be well. All the best :)
