Cold compresses can help reduce swelling in the area. Cooling also helps to numb sharp pain. Apply an ice pack for up to 20 minutes, up to five times a day. Use a frozen gel pack, ice cubes in a plastic bag, or a bag of frozen peas. Wrap the cold pack in a soft towel. Do not apply a cold pack directly to skin.
Heat therapy
heat helps to relax tense muscles and soothe a stiff area. It can help with muscle pain and bonny pain. Use a heated gel pack, heating pad or a hot water bottle.

Dear sir
non vegetarian diet is difficult to digest and hence you would have been asked to not eat that right now. You can of course take non spicy clear non veg soup. Please wait at least 7-10 days .then you may have bland nonveg and slowly get back to normal diet when your digestive system has recovered fully.
Get well soon.

With treatment you need a very perticular light diet plenty of liquid, seasonal fruits to be chewed properly. Diet plays very important role in typhoid.
To keep your intestine proper after antibiotics you need probiotics.
So consultation by a md physician advisable.
