diabetes according to alloapthy is not treatable, it can be controlled with medications & the patient has to be dependent on medications for long. Take her to your local physician and check her sugars immediately. If not possible, watch for symptoms of low sugar (tremors, uneasiness, sweating, hunger, giddiness) and if any of the symptoms are seen, give her sugar immediately.
Then visit your family physician for routine check up.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Please look at the ingredient, if it is Metformin 500 mg, then both are same. Some times there may be an additional XR mentioned, which means it is an extended release tablet, that acts for over 12 hours inside the gut. Thanks.

You can replace jalrm m 50/500 mg (bd) with vysov m 50/500 mg (bd) as both these brands contain the same drugs metformin (500 mg) + vildagliptin (50 mg)

Dear Lybrate use both of them contain the same medication and dose but glyciphage sr is released slowly in the stomach so will contain less gastric side effects. You may consider elcephase 500 sr if it is available as it is same as glycomet 500 sr.
