diabetes according to alloapthy is not treatable, it can be controlled with medications & the patient has to be dependent on medications for long. According to Ayurveda, there are two types- one is sadha(treatable) and second one is Yapya(treatable with medication). you have to maintain a healthy diet and lifestyle. walk around 40 min to one hour daily. Take her to your local physician and check her sugars immediately. If not possible, watch for symptoms of low sugar (tremors, uneasiness, sweating, hunger, giddiness) and if any of the symptoms are seen, give her sugar immediately.
