Excessive blinking can be caused by problems with the eyelids or anterior segment (front surface of the eye), habitual tics, refractive error (need for glasses), intermittent exotropia or turning out of the eye, and stress. It is very rare for excessive blinking to be a sign of an undiagnosed neurologic disorder. Let's have a detailed discussion to ensure proper treatment.

To overcome this problem first you should not concentrate on your eye blinking and eye. You can use any eye lubricants available at chemist shops and put 3-4 drops 3 hourly regular for 5 days .do daily two sets of placing a pencil tip far from your eyes and concentrate and gradually moves closer to the eyes till your eyes becomes blurred. If it fails to solve your problem you must visit to eye clinic.
