Pregnancy can occur only one day of the cycle that is ovulation day so unprotected sex around that day only important. As only one day in month nature should be given 12-24 trials (12 to 24 months) before couple need any active management by gynecologist or infertility specialist.

I have been trying for the 2nd pregnancy since last month. My first child is 3 years old. This month's period date is may 5 and I am having 30 days cycle. I went to take a usg scan and thyroid test on may 11th. My tsh is 5.71 now and started taking thyronorm 25 mcg from may 12th. My usg report looks normal and no pcod. But the endometrial thickness is 4.7 mm. Do these things affect infertility, will I be able to conceive this month.

Repeat the thyroid test after a month. Also get an amh level done. Endometrial thickness usually is not of much consequence in fertility issues initially but you may require a hysteroscopy if this persists even in later part of your cycle.

Hi. Your usg is normal and endometrium is also good for day 6 of periods. Thyroid needs control and since you have started medicine repeat tsh after 6 weeks to know if thyroid is controlled. If not dose will be increased. Till then you keep trying and take folic acid also.

Yes you have to start folic acid 1 month before you start trying for pregnancy. This has to be continued in pregnancy also.

Im 32 years old female, trying for conception usually I hv 34 days cycle but this time I started spotting brown color colour on 28th (8 days after ovulation) with strands and egg white discharge for last 5 days with no cramps what can be the reason can implantation spotting last for 5 days with strands or mild clots? Implantation spotting occurs a couple of days around ovulation if implantation happens.
