I am 23 years old. I have been married for 3 years. I did’t get pregnant yet. I used to gain more but not over weight I never took birth control pills I only take vitamin d pills for now. I have flat feet. I don’t smoke or drink alcohol. I exercise regularly but lately I don’t from my mild pain and scared to make them worse. So I just walk. I eat a healthy diet. Before three years I had pain on my right leg that would hurt so much. So I found that I have a small green vein behind my right knee with a little spider veins. So I started to exercise regularly and elevate my legs and then the pain went away but it will come back if I work a lot. I did’t know I’m suppose to wear compression stockings. But lately the pain on my legs won’t go away and my veins are more than before and behind my left knee too. The pain was behind my knees and a little bit on my calves but the pain on my right leg was more and it won’t go away like before. Even if I rest ,the pain behind my knee won’t go away lately. I can take the pain it’s not that severe. I also lately noticed my veins on my feet, ankle, shin and near my wrist are showing more I discovered that it might be from the reticular veins that I have. I have some spider veins and green veins behind my knees. So I went to the doctor and did an ultra sound to see if my situation is not dangerous. The doctor told me I can take pills to get rid of the pain and do sclerotherapy to let the veins not spread. What I want to ask you is if I do sclerotherapy procedure would this pain go away and the veins that are showing in my feet and shin more go away? Would this needle help the blood flow and make my veins less visible on my feet, shin, ankle and around my wrist? Are the reticular veins the reason for those bulging veins? They scare me. Thank you.

Leg PainIf you have leg pain then you have to rule out the casues for having leg pain. First of all check your weight and your haemoglobin levels, as Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having leg pain though there are no issues with the knee joint or back pain. If not if the pain radiates down the back of thigh and legs then it might be due to sciatica. Kindly consult the nearby physiotherapist. Hope you recover soon from the leg pain.

Suugestion is to consult vascular surgeon. Younger age varicose veins are not common. We might have to see or rule out other problems like venous malformation, abnormal veins. Etc.
