Bulky uterine fibroids are not easy to cure with medicine alone. Sometimes procedures are needed. However diet and lifestyle modifications are necessary. If you want to be on safer side, pl follow yoga, exercise, pranayam and Ayurvedic medicine. For a ppt on this and other details you may consult in confidence.

Hi, I have been recently diagnosed with a unilocular cyst, and I am currently undergoing treatment. Prior to my diagnosis, I suddenly developed a lot of facial hair and weight gain but now my weight has returned to its normal self as well as the facial hair is gone (i did facial hair removal a couple of times, and the regrowth doesn't seem to happen as much as it did the initial time). I have been having medicine for cyst for the last 3 months, but one more additional problem is also bugging me a lot lately. It occurred nearly at the time I went for a cyst diagnosis. My hair falls a lot daily and consistently. My hair is thinning daily at a tremendous rate and at the moment I don't have a solution to it. I am also not sure whether this is happening because of the medicine I am taking for the cyst, or the cyst itself, or due to some hormonal disbalance (rise in testosterone levels, androgen, dht, or something similar) in the body, which I suspect was the underlying cause for the cyst to happen at the first place. It would be of great help to me if anyone can shed some light regarding this matter, as this is troubling me a lot and I am going through a lot of stress right now. Thank you

Both are used for the treatment of endometriotic cyst. But if there's any two opinions about this diagnosis, then better to take ocps.

Since you have endometriosis, the best treatment is to stop the periods for control of symptoms. Mirena achieves that without resorting to surgery. There are no side effects of stopping periods, it will be like a menopause. Mirena has side effects like spotting or pelvic pain but are usually uncommon. If you wish to continue medical treatment instead, go for dienogest as novelon may not suit you for prolonged periods considering your age.
