In view of your opioid dependence, you should get admitted at a psychiatric hospital or an approved de-addiction center for the management of your illness. If even after your leg amputation, you are unable to control the substance use, that itself shows that the severity of the illness is quite high. So, contact your nearest hospital at the earliest.

Mobile addiction can be treated through a combination of behavioral therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and digital detox programs. Other methods include setting boundaries and limits on the use of mobile devices, finding alternative activities to replace excessive mobile use, and seeking support from friends and family. It is important to consult with a mental health professional who can recommend the best course of treatment for an individual's specific needs.

Dear Ashika,
Your husband needs assessment, just like any other addiction. Then he needs to undergo motivational enhancement therapy for at least 12 weeks. If he has any psychiatric disorder along with this addiction, it has to be treated simultaneously. After that, he needs long term follow up to prevent relapses. Finally with the help of both the families, see that all his financial dealings are from joint accounts with you.

Dear Kamal,
Are you dependent on narcotics? Buprenorphine makes this addictive habit less risky. You may not overdose and die of narcotics. With buprenorphine, less withdrawal symptoms. All the other tablets may be for your associated mental health issues or management of withdrawal symptoms or for medical complication of your habit of taking narcotics. Please decide for something less harmful so that you can have better quality of life.
