Hello-
Phimosis may be treated by surgery. Some doctors rush straight to a circumcision as the immediate option to cure this condition. While circumcision does sort out the issue, it also removes the foreskin completely which may not be comfortable for the patient and would also affect the patient’s sexual performance. Many people however prefer to have their foreskin intact and for them, other treatments are available. The most popular non – surgical method is the consumption of ayurved...more

Dear Lybrate user. Phimosis is a congenital narrowing of the opening of the foreskin so that it cannot be retracted. Phimosis is a very common problem. In most of the cases you can clear the problem yourself. Phimosis could cause moderate to severe pain while having vaginal intercourse. Apply oil on your foreskin and on the glans. Move the foreskin forward and back slowly without hurting you much. Because the oil is lubricant, it will be easier than without oil. Do this forward and back movement...more

Phimosis can not be cured with medicine.
Surgery is soo easy & painless-go for it.
You can do sex even with it- but pleasure will be less & there will be chance of infection as smegma will be deposited inside the skin fold.

Hello-
" Phimosis" is the technical term for an un-retractable foreskin. An acute case of phimosis may create problems for the person when he would want to pass urine or to perform sex, as this action may either be restricted or become troublesome. This is when phimosis becomes a medical emergency. It has been linked with an increased risk of infection, loss of sexual stimulation of the penis and even penis cancer.

Traditionally medicine offers conservative treatment of phimosis. It...more

Phimosis, if present since birth, is purely a surgical condition. But if it develops in later age due to any inflammation/infection then there are many homeopathic medicines like Merc. Iod. Sulphur, acid-nit, Jacaranda, Cinnabaris, Hepar-sulph, Can notharis, Thuja etc which can help such cases. For treatment let me know since when do you have this condition?

Hello-"phimosis" is the technical term for an un-retractable foreskin. The foreskin of the penis is not retractable in an infant or a young child. This is considered to be a normal part of development. As the child grows into puberty the foreskin naturally separates itself from the head of the penis, allowing for complete retraction. This becomes a particularly important function for the male in terms of hygiene, especially with cleaning of the penis and its head as well as in terms of sexual in...more
