But if you are taking any other medications it can very well alter the actions of other medications in the body which can cause some sexual side effects. Levonorgestrel has a success rate of around 85-95% if taken within two days of unprotected intercourse.
Even though it nausea/vomitting can be one of the side effects related to levonorgestrel. It might not have anything to do with it working or not.

The test of bacterial culture test can be altered if the patient has already been taking antibiotics at the time of taking sample. Because if you are already taking antibiotics the bacteria may not grow on culture. So, you should interpret the results of test in context of the patient.
