Epidermoid cysts occur most often on your face, neck and trunk. Epidermoid (ep-ih-dur-moid) cysts are noncancerous small bumps beneath the skin. They can appear anywhere on the skin, but are most common on the face, neck and trunk.
Epidermoid cysts can be left alone, as long as they are not located in an awkward place on the body, and are small. However, a healthcare professional may recommend removal:
if they are infected
if they interfere with everyday life

Hi. Recently I done my fistula surgery i.e ksharasutra. Wound got completely healed. After one month my anus becomes itchy, sticking and burning sensation. I felt like my anus hole becomes small. After one week these symptoms gone. Later I am getting some blood in my stool i.e from where I had fistula surgery. Later I went to doctor in my location he just checked without any test and told me there is an small fissure and one pile is there. I asked doctor who did fistula surgery to me about the issue. He told be it may be due to ibs. He told me took rifagut 550 mg and cap providac tablets and use them two weeks. Will see later he told. Before using tablets I didn't feel any bloating sensation, stomach pain, diarrhea, irregular bowel moments, constipation. After using tablets on third day I feel like stomach bloating and stomach pain i.e may be due to gas. But I am getting motions normally. From two days onwards I am not getting blood in stool and fissure is not paining much while popping. This bloating and stomach pain is due to side-effects of rifagut and providac tablets. Or is it due to ibs? What I have to do now.

Hi lybrate-user,
I will suggest you that please don't do anything very specific or aggressive at this moment. U just had a surgery, give your body some time to recover. Everything will settle down. Only thing you need is a good sits bath regularly, and probably a probiotics like bifilac. It will settle down soon.

If the medicine isn't doing any good, get an hrusg of bilateral inguinoscrotal region to see if there is epididymoorchitis. The treatment is then analgesics and antibiotics. If there isn't anything like that, then you should get operated.

It can be because of reactionary fluid accumulation in scrotum after an episode of epididymo-orchitis. Please do scrotal ultrasound and complete blood count whenever you have episode of fever to make correct diagnosis.
