Dear lybrate-user,
all tablets have side effects and interactions. Some side effects may be beneficial to you. You have to tolerate the side effects for the sake of the benefit they give. Major side effect on organs like thyroid, kidneys and parathyroid will be monitored by your psychiatrist periodically. There are plenty of alternatives - each of them side effects on its own.
I have already informed you that psychiatrist's tests.

Hi lybrate-user,
along with medication would recommend to go for a counselling session. Depression can be treated with counselling and psychotherapy. Schizophrenia can be managed with medication and psychotherapy.
Take a professional help and get better soon.

Dear lybrate-user,
did you have dry mouth, headache, racing thoughts, jittery and agitation before taking desvenlafaxine or sertraline? Yes, you did have - they are all anxiety symptoms. Instead of googling side effects of the tablets, please google mixed anxiety depressive disorder, adrenaline reaction, stress management, recurrent major depressive disorder, etc. Please consult your doctor so that sertraline dose can be increased to an effective dose.

Your symptoms suggest clinical depression or major depressive disorder. Depression being a brain illness, it needs pharmacological treatment. You are on starting dose of fluoxetine. That might not help. You need proper medicine along with psychotherapy sessions.

Never stop the medications without psychiatrist advise, there is bound to be some withdrawal which can lead to other complications. There is a way to taper and stop of symptoms are under control for long. Good luck.
