Severe heart blockage is typically that in the greater than 70% range. This degree of narrowing is associated with significantly reduced blood flow to the heart muscle and can underlie symptoms such as chest pain and shortness of breath. If the blockage occurs more slowly, the heart muscle may develop small collateral blood vessels (or detours) for other coronary arteries to reroute the blood flow, and angina occurs.

A block in the right bundle branch can occur in people who otherwise seem normal. If it happens with a heart attack, it can be a sign of serious heart muscle damage. A block in the left bundle branch is usually a sign of heart disease. Bundle branch blocks usually do not cause symptoms.

So definitely the filtered oils are better than refined ones. Also filtered oils are produced at a lower temperature which retain most of the nutrition & the fatty acid bonds doesn't become toxic, which is not true with refined oils.

If your brother has blocks in the heart vessel as you say it cannot be removed with medicines and angioplasty is the treatment for blocks.
