If the follicles forming in ovary get less and it’s near menopause then taking cop pills can help continue menses or not. Can early menopausal be checked to continue menses with meprate tablets.

Menopause cannot be checked by taking meprate or ocp's .if you continue taking ocp's then you can continue having withdrawal bleeding.
If you've had your menopause then instead of taking ocp's it's better to take hormone replacement therapy. Prior to taking hormonal replacement therapy you have to undergo some tests.

Hi I am 36 years old and having hormonal imbalance issues for the past 5 yrs. I consulted gynaec and she did some test. I hv small cyst also and doc said I am at the stage of early menopause. She had given medicine doris but after having medicine I had get melasma on my upper lips. So I stopped using it and after that I scared to consult any doc. Rite now m taking amycordial tablet .its almost 3 and half months and I hv not get ny periods. I hv frequently mood swings, hair fall issues, gained sm amount of weight also. Pls help.

My mother is 55, is suffering from extreme bleeding from the last two weeks. She had her menopause last year, however, the bleeding began earlier this year. On consulting a doctor, she was advised to take regestrol for 3 months. When the issue did not resolve, she underwent a dnc procedure, during which the doc inserted marena medicine. But just after the one week of the procedure, her bleeding resumed. She is a lot for pain, also took trenaxa on suggestion of the doctor but bleeding did not stop. She has began eating regestrol again and the bleeding is somewhat controlled. All her tests are normal, her cancer tests are also negative. We are very worried, should we get the uterus removed? That seems like the last option. Please, please advise.

Hi! post menopausal bleeding is defenitily a concern. It wil be easier to guide if you can share your scan reports and biopsy reports. As your biopsy is normal you need not worry much. Sometimes morena insertion can cause bleeding, you can wait for a wk n see how your mom is responding to d prescribed regesterone. Hope she recovers soon.
