No it is not possible to detect alcohol presence in human body for past 3 months. And there is no blood test that can say how long it has been a person drinking.

Dear mam, I can imagine it must be quite tough for you. The medicines used for treatment of alcohol addiction may cause severe side effects and hence should be prescribed and used only under supervision of a psychiatrist. So do not medicate him by yourself. I gather that he is unwilling to see a doctor. Talk to him about how concerned you are for him. Talk to your family and ask your family to intervene and encourage him to seek help.
