Dear user, I can understand. You must understand the difference between ALCOHOL ADDICTION and abuse. You can definitely quit alcohol in one go. Just stop it and swear not to drink again. Engage yourself in games and other engaging activities during evenings or when you feel the urge. Just a week, your habit should change. There are many other methods, which you can see through internet. The best method is what I suggested. Please try it without fail. Take care.

Hi,
The recommended safe limit for alcohol use is not more than 21 units in 7 days, which is 3 units everyday. 1 unit of alcohol is 8 gm of pure alcohol. So, it depends on the alcohol content in your beer which may vary. However, drinking alcohol everyday can damage your physical health and also can lead to mental health issues as well as addiction. Please opt for healthier means to deal with stress like exercise, meditation, talking to your friend.

My father has a bad habit of drinking alcohol. He drinks too much alcohol. It's been more than 20 years he is addicted to alcohol and drinks everyday. Sometimes its normal but sometimes I don't know what happens to him he began to take much more amount of alcohol everyday like 1 or more bottle. I have also tried Ayurveda medicines like No addiction and addiction free but no big results were seen. We gave him in food without knowing him. Whenever he decreases the quantity of alcohol or quit alcohol for some time like for 1-2 weeks he can't sleep properly and become kinda depressed. But most of the time he drinks regularly everyday from the beginning of the day and sometimes he exceeds the limit too much that it becomes difficult for him to remain without alcohol. Please help. He is not ready to take any medicine nor treatment in any center. Our family is too depressed. We tried everything to make them understand but it doesn't make difference for him. All he wanted is to drink till his death. He is more than 50 years old.

Red wine in quantities Not exceeding 30 ml per day can be beneficial for heart. But due to its high addiction potential, walking 2-3 km daily, eating a calories restricted diet is found to be as good as & cheaper, addiction free, safer option to red wine.
