Asked for female, 26 years old from Mumbai

Hii I am 26 years old I had a mdr tb in 2021 I completed my course for 16 months, nd I am totally fine now ,i take some medicine during my treatment there was a medicine called clofazimine which caused my skin red in colour, I stopped my medicine in september 2022 ,my skin colour is now ok ok ,but not normal, so I have a question is if I conceive, can my previous medicine affect my baby?

A traumatic injury to the brain stem and cerebellum (the parts of the brain that control movement) can make it hard for you to walk and keep your balance. Mental health issues. Some people with tbis have anxiety, depression, or a fear of falling. These issues can cause or increase balance problems.

Every medicine has some or other side effect. It depends on what benefit you obtain vis a vis the side effects. Pregabalin is regularly prescribed in lumbar canal stenosis and had a good track record. Oxcarbamezepine is infrequently used, in comparison in lumbar canal stenosis cases. Both can be used and the predominant side effects of both is sedation. They can be started and stopped if side effects are bothersome.

My father is having 70% blockage in right carotid arteryâs and 50% blockage in left carotid artery before 2 years he used to black out frequently. We consulted neurologist and after doing carotid doppler test, as per doctors advice. He is taking clopitab cv 10 since last 2 years and levera 500. After taking these medicine, he have never blacked out again. Recently we did the doppler test again and the report is still the same. No reduction in blockage. Could you please suggest what should we do to reduce the blockage.

nothing can be done to reduce blockage except stenting. medicines wont reduce blockage, they only stop its progression

I am suffering from cerebral palsy spasticity since birth now for last one week experience neck muscle spasm, pain and stiffness in the neck left side and pain while walking or standing on rt knee joint my x rays shows neck and lumbar spondylosis reduced disc space at c3-c4 to c5-c6 level and reduced disc space at l5-s1 level knee x-ray rt tibia- femoral joint- mild reduced joint space in medial compartment (degenerative change) I am taking regularly physiotherapy, vit d60k and calcium supplements and now for few days taking zerodol Mr. for few days but couldn't find much relief kindly advice suitable medication and treatment regarding my problem? I am sorry to hear that you are still suffering. The cervical spinal problem can be discussed with neurosurgeon. There is no specific curative therapy for knee degenrative changes escept hot fomentation, analgesia and avoidance of excessive knee bending and maintaining a healthy body weight. However, there are some antispasmodics that can reduce muscle spasm.

Headache immediately following a head injury usually clears after minutes or days but sometimes headaches may persist for months or rarely years. The long-term headaches are called post-traumatic or post-concussion headaches.
