After the bite, vaccination should be started as early as possible, however if the cat doesn't show symptoms in 10 days, post exposure prophylaxis can be converted to pre exposure prophylaxis by skipping the dose on day 14 and continuing on day 28, if using the im regimen.

Thanks for reaching out. I will strongly recommend that you take the vaccine course beacuse rabies is a very severe disease with very high mortality rate, please don't take any risk. Also you may check your rabies antibody titre by blood testing then if the report indicates low, then you will have to take the full course again. Please clean the wound with antiseptic solution and apply a bandage/ band aid during the daytime. Take care.
