1. Do saline gargles daily.
2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also.
3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of ac. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, when there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected.

Antibiotics taken when indicated are safe. They don't harm your body, infact they help you. So meet ENT specialist and kindly follow the advice.
If you are getting tonsillitis 5 to 6 times in a year please get tonsillectomy operation done. If less than 3 infections in a year, take antibiotics whenever you suffer infection.
Blood coming from mouth needs to be evaluated.

If you are getting repeated throat infections particularly the tonsils than you need to get rid of them surgically, there is no harm in it, if you get 7-8 infections in ayear of moderate degree than surgery is the only option.
