Dear lybrate-user, relax and be calm as this is probably the only thing to be done. You have not given a proper history like what are the associated symptoms like headache or hearing loss, so you need a thorough audio-vestibular (hearing and balance) evaluation. The role of tinnex is not very well established in the treatment of tinnitus. You may consult your nearby specialist or feel free to contact me and share your problem in greater detail.

Hi lybrate-user. Did the audiologist also perform an impedance audiogram?. If not please get it done. Tmj disorder can cause tinnitus, ear pain and sensation of ear fullness. But since you have only developed these symptoms post nasal surgery. Get an impedance audiogram also done. Also use a saline nasal spray, steam inhalation and warm saline gargles for a few days. If it doesn't help talk to an ent specialist.

The most common cause of tinnitus is damage and loss of the tiny sensory hair cells in the cochlea of the inner ear. This tends to happen as people age, and it can also result from prolonged exposure to excessively loud noise. Hearing loss may coincide with tinnitus.
