Tinnitus is the perception of noise or ringing in the ears. Tinnitus isn't a condition itself — it's a symptom of an underlying condition, such as age-related hearing loss, ear injury or a circulatory system disorder. Let's have a detailed discussion to ensure proper treatment.

My ears were sounding after attending a marriage with loud music for 3-4 hours. After 40-50 hours of this situation, this sound almost gone except in night with a little noise in my right ear only. My ears working smoothly and I didn't feel this sound so much. At this time, only loud voice and traffic voice made me annoying. But after 7-8 days, when I woke up in morning I felt that my right ear is like it is full of something and I couldn't hear with this ear clearly and there is a buzzing type sensation in day and jhingur type voice in night and this sound is very louder than previous voice .so I took a pta test and it shows mild hearing loss in my right ear. I'm also taking steroids but there is no change in the buzzing sensation. Today I feel this sound in my left ear also and it is also like full of something. Every external voice makes me very uncomfortable, irritating and annoying. I couldn't want to listen any external sound. This situation makes me very depressed. I couldn't focus on my studies as well as other routine works. As an upsc aspirant, it is a big loss of time for me. Please suggest me solutions to cure this problem.

Tinnitus and vertigo are both diseases of the inner ear and, sometimes, the brain. Tinnitus is often an inner ear issue, and this can cause balance issues. Not all people who suffer from tinnitus also suffer from vertigo, but some do. Conversely, vertigo can be be the cause of balance and ear problems.
