If more details about paraesthesia are furnished like exact location, aggravating and relieving factors and any loss of sensation or weakness. So we really do not know the cause of your tingling.

there has been in all likelihood a mild cervical disc problem which has caused mild compression of the nerves causing the tingling. This may have occured due to bad posture of the neck or some odd posturing something like watching tv sitting or lying in an unusual position, the exast event will be clear if you scan the time preceding the tingling appearance for the first time.
