Hello, thanks for the query.
Madam I have seen the details. It is good to know that thyroid report is normal (there is no mention of actual values, so no further comments can be made.) as regards the lipid profile by mentioning only the ratio I can not make out what are the actual values. More important in the lipids are hdl cholesterol (should be closer to 50 mg) & ldl cholesterol (< 70 mg). Further the eosinophil value seems to be a bit high, this happens if there is any allergic phenomeno...more

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. It is better if you mention the actual levels of tsh. Because by saying normal, it is not clear what is normal according to you. It is also necssary to look at the labs limits of t4, tsh. T4 13.6 is definitely much higher than what it should be. This is suggestive of taking higher than required dosage of levothyroxine. If you have any questions please do come back. Excess thyroxine can cause certain problems. Thanks.

Hello, thanks for the query.
Madam, I am sure your doctor must have informed about what steps need to be taken during pregnancy for a hypothyroid patient. During the gestation period (9 months of pregnancy) it is essential to test thyroid profile once a month (once every 4 weeks). Because tsh needs to be specifically monitored. In 1st trimester it should be 0.1 to 2.5 mu/l, 2nd trimester 0.2 to 3.00 mu/l & in 3rd trimester 0.3 to 3 mu/l for appropriate growth and for normal or expected out c...more

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
A simple goiter may disappear on its own, or may become larger. Over time, the thyroid gland may stop making enough thyroid hormone.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a treatment plan for you.

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the point mentioned in the query. Both the products contain same medication. So there is no question of one being better than the other. It is usually advised to stick to the brand which one is using. So if you are using thyrox please stick to that. What is important is to take adequate dosage and that too regularly and on empty stomach and then nothing should be taken for next 1 hour. Thanks.

A fracture of the thyroid cartilage is frequently associated with edema. Stridor, dyspnea, dysphagia, odynophagia, or gurgling may be suggestive of swelling of the airway. A muffled voice, hoarseness, or inability to speak may also be suggestive of a laryngeal fracture.
