lybrate-user you are suffering with subclinical hypothyroidism. There is no need to take anti thyroid medicine. Take tata iodised salt in salad and fruits.

What happens if someone has anti tpo bodies. My report showed tsh level as 15.698 six months later the reading is showing 24.228. I was not taking any allopathy medicines was taking only patanjali thyrogrit. I consulted one doctor he directly asked me to take thyronorm 50 and repeat test after 3 months. Is it wise, do I need to get antibody test too?

Mam no need to repeat tpo antibody it is always elevated, it is cause of your thyroid start thyronorm patanaji or hoempathy is waste of time and money.

Please send complete report of thyroid profile.
With normal ranges.
Tsh is quite normal. Accordinging to pregnancy it is also normal.
T3t4 has no value during pregnancy as they naturally increase 1.5 times during pregnancy

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the point mentioned in the query. Both the products contain same medication. So there is no question of one being better than the other. It is usually advised to stick to the brand which one is using. So if you are using thyrox please stick to that. What is important is to take adequate dosage and that too regularly and on empty stomach and then nothing should be taken for next 1 hour. Thanks.

A fracture of the thyroid cartilage is frequently associated with edema. Stridor, dyspnea, dysphagia, odynophagia, or gurgling may be suggestive of swelling of the airway. A muffled voice, hoarseness, or inability to speak may also be suggestive of a laryngeal fracture.
