Ulcer, bleeding, severe throat infection, recurrent infection, swelling lymph nodes of cervical region, but this may or may not be due to cancer ,u need to consult a ENT specialist.

Dear lybrate-user Can you swallow food solid or liquid. If yes than don’t worry otherwise consult your doctor It is normal for some to have difficulty in swallowing drug.

No it is not. Anyhow it needs to be checked .but if you do not have much secretions in the mouth it can happen but not cancer always.

If the infection subsided in a few days, it is not a symptom of cancer. If persistent, better to see a surgical oncologist for the same. Why not quit smoking, rather than waiting for the cancer to occur. Most of our patients quit smoking after they get cancer. But by that time it is quite late. 90% of the lung cancers we see in OPD are advanced or metastatic and cannot be cured.
Please quit smoking before it is too late.

In parallel you may start ayurvedic treatment including panchkarma and rasayan treatment. When the condition improves you may continue with chemotherapy. There is no other good option other then this.

By throat cancer we usually mean mean laryngeal, or pharyngeal cancers. The options depend upon the stage of the cancer. If early stage T1 or T2 vocal cord disease, you may be offered either laser excision or radiation. The voice quality is almost similar with both, but may be poorer with laser especially if the anterior commisure is involved. Also, laser may be repeated, but radiation cannot. For more advanced diseases, the options are between organ preservation i.e. Chemoradiation vs surgery. ...more

Dear Sir Arthur,
If you have the apprehension of cancer after smoking what is the need to smoke. As such it is not proven that smoking causes cancer but incidence of cancer in smokers is more. The chances of developing cancer with smoking is dependent on many other factors.
