Asked for female, 23 years old from Kolkata

2 weeks ago a small finger nail got stuck in my throat. From that day onwards it felt something was stuck in my throat. But it doesn't hurt while swallowing food. I went to ent, they did upper endoscopy and told there is inflammation, nothing stuck. They told me it is because of gerd. I was prescribed antacids and ppis. Still now sometimes it feels something is stuck or my throat is getting dry. Why is this happening? Also how long it takes for gerd throat to heal?

always take food at normal temperature

Hello sir/ma'am, i'm having throat pain from 2 days. Nearby doctor gave me ofloxacin tablet and genlide plus. But it has no effect. Can you pls suggest me some meds to cure throat pain and daily precautions to take to avoid cough and cold.

For mere viral sore throat. Use gargle and hot water sips and otc pain medications. It if worsens consult ent doctor. There are many reasons for throat pain and better get evaluated if it persists.

Hello sir I have chronic pharyngitis and sore throat for 4 months I consulted ent but she say you are normal and I am getting pain (whenever I gulp) in left side of throat which radiates to back of my head and feel numbness or sensitive in left cheeks. I take amoxicillin and many powerful antibiotics and medicines. I just smoked for 1 month in life. Age-29, weight-54. I have tonsils in throat, pain during whole day ,specially much pain when I just wake up in morning. Also rainy nose, eyes feels fatigue and tiredness, tears come, looks red. Seems like my eyesight getting weak, feels scene look like little opaque. For it I used caboxymethyl cellulose sodium eye drop 1 week but it did not work. These disease, symptoms assured in june 2023 and before many times, I took medications from doctors but again I affected. Every time he prescribed- ibuprofen, levocetirizine and some antibiotics. In 10-13 days I recovered from disease but why I suffer again seems like some germs remained in body or may the doctor did not right diagnose. Please prescribe medicine.

Looks like you have allergy problem. It could be due to nearby sources.
Here are some checklist to rule out other sources of infection
1. Nose and sinus - frequent nose block, discharge
2. Dental caries - get filling done
3. Acid problem - burping, or chest burn, pain stomach- avoid lying down after meals for atleast 2 hours
4. Tonsil - big in size with frequent white discharge
