My father is 68 years old, recently he is diagnosed with hernia and hydrocele. When further investigation was done, it's found that he also has enlarged prostate. For a month he was no medication for prostate megalis. Now can he continue his medication for prostrate and first get operated for hernia and hydrocele. You can. If post void urine is high than better to get operated simultaneously turp for prostate and hernioplasty at same sitting g after proper cardiac evaluation.
