You just need to quit smoking because it is harmful even when you smoke one cigarette. Just because you do not have a problem as yet, it does not mean that smoking is alright. You are obviously functioning on a reactive mode i.e. you will stop only when you have a problem. Dear Lybrateuser, - You have to stop smoking as it is causing harmful effect on your respiratory system, the colour of your sputum has turned black because of smoking
- do steam inhalation twice a day - avoid dust, smoke, cold fluids including aerated drinks - have more of warm fluids, water, tea, coffee, milk, soup
- have a well balanced diet containing more of fruits & vegetables, whole grains, legumes, beans, sprouts, peas
- do regular exercise like walking, jogging, playing games...more

Well smoking is bad and you need to stop it immediately. Nicotine has an immediate effect on the erectile capacity and in the long run it will lead to permanent damage. Hi, this is a symptom of addiction. First of all I wish you all success in your mission to stop smoking. Yes, really it's a mission. But anybody can achieve this. You first think that you can do this. Where there is a will there is a way. You don't think to leave it suddenly. You should stop step by step. You can use nicotine chewing gums initially.
