Three months ago I got one tt shot now yesterday I got a minor scratch from rusted tap. Should I take tt again? For how much duration one tt last?

The tt you have taken 3 months ago is protective till another one year and you need not repeat now.

Vacations are important as there provide immunization so tt is a just pre prophylactic for any scratches from nails or for dog bite so I request you to get it vaccinated.

The single injection by tt induces the immunity production by the body and helps you against tetanus, you need to take it until after on year as you are already immunised well.

If you took twice there is no point of taking as you took it 2 years back anyhow if you feel you can go for a small booster dose.

It is safe to take a tt if you have a wound. However if it is so small a scratch and not deep injury and if you had taken tt anytime before, you can avoid taking.

Ya. Its better if you immunise yourself with tt vaccine. Take care of wound by regular cleansing n dressing with betadine and if need also antibiotisc.

There is no need for repeated tt injection. The effect of injection taken one year ago will be there.

Tetanus injection effects last upto 6 months. If there wasn't no bleeding than no need for rabies or tetanus injection.

Another T.T. Is given to prevent from tetnus for a longer period even if you get injury in that period. However the 2nd dose is usually given 4-6 weaks after and the third dose after 6-8 months.
